The Paint Shop Pro and Animation Shop are surely a wonderful combination for working on quick and fast projects to create web page effects and other internet graphics. All the tutorials around the www are absolutely wonderful, but most of them are long and involved it takes quite a bit of time to sift through all the instructions. I salute all the artist and talented people who have created these wonderful ideas and their imagination. But, now it is time to really use PSP to its highest potential and do some "Quickies"! So enjoy!

Here is what you need! Oh sorry - no downloads

Just PSP Version 5 or higher and Animation Shop which you can try from Here!

Ok, let's get started!

Step #1:

Open a new image in PSP 400 x 400 transparent. Select your colors for your text, I used #FF0000 (red) ~ Fill color and #008000 (green) ~ Stroke color for this animation. Type your text!

Use whatever you want including the font, just remember that some fonts look better filled than others do.

Step #2:

Apply your text and leave it selected. Go up to your tool bar and "copy" it unto your clipboard.

Step #3:

Open Animation Shop and "paste" as a new animation. This is where the pictures are going to be helpful until you do it a few times.

Step #3a - Image #1 On your toolbar at the top click the drop down menu named Effects and choice Image Transition.

Step #3b - Image #2 Just follow the hands on the rest of the pictures unless you see a note under them.

Step #3c Image #3 Choose "Customize", don't worry if it seems funny to you to go from right to left, we will take care of that in the next step.

Step #3d Image #4 Click OK and go back up to your menu. This time you are going to change the positions of the frames.
